There are lof of things to consider when giving a gift to a kid, especially if it's your son or daughter. That is because we all know how important those early years are.  Kids are impressionable and they believe adults, because it is natural.  They need to trust us and rely on us.  That puts a huge responsibility on us as parents.You need to focus on the reason for giving, and that may not seem revolutionary, but a lot of people just go out looking for gifts and hope for the best.  Focusing on the reason for giving means focusing intentionally on why you are giving a gift.Of these things which do you think is most important?  I would say fun, because the brain does not require arithematic, for example, to be learning and functioning and growing.  But if your child does not have fun with his or her gifts then they will not really be able to learn.  Fun is a chokepoint for giving the best gifts for kids.
